Information about Cookies 

Due to the entry into force of the amendment of the Law on Information Society Services (LSSICE) established by Royal Decree 13/2012, it is mandatory to obtain the express consent of the user of all web pages that use unnecessary cookies, before browsing them.

What are cookies?
Cookies and other similar technologies such as local shared objects, flash cookies or pixels, are tools used by web servers to store and retrieve information about their visitors, as well as to provide a correct functioning of the site.

Using these devices allows the web server to remember some data concerning the user, such as their preferences for viewing the pages of this server, name and password, products they are most interested in, etc.

Cookies affected by the regulation and exempted cookies:
According to the EU directive, the cookies that require informed consent from the user are analytics cookies and advertising and affiliation cookies, with the exception of those of a technical nature and those necessary for the functioning of the website or the provision of services expressly requested by the user.

What types of cookies are there?
About the types of cookies, there are five main groups:

  • Analytical cookies: they collect information on the use that is made of the website.

  • Social cookies: are those necessary for external social networks.

  • Affiliate cookies: allow tracking of visits from other websites, with which the website establishes an affiliation contract (affiliation companies).

  • Advertising and behavioral cookies: they collect information about the user's personal preferences and choices (retargeting).

  • Technical and functional cookies: these are strictly necessary for the use of the website and for the provision of the contracted service.

 

Cookies that we use on our website

  • PHPSESSID: technical and strictly necessary cookie that contains the session identifier. It is deleted when you close your browser.

  • lang: technical and strictly necessary cookie that contains the language of the session. It is deleted when you close the browser.

  • ac_cookies: technical and strictly necessary cookie that contains the value of whether the installation of cookies has been accepted. It expires in 1 year from the last update.

  • _ga: Google Analytics Universal cookie that enables the unique visits control function. The first time a user enters the website through a browser this cookie will be installed. When this user enters the web site again with the same browser, the tab will consider that he/she is the same user. Only if the user changes browser, it will be considered a different user.   • _gat: This cookie is associated with Google Analytics. It is used to limit request speed - limiting data collection on high traffic sites. It expires after 10 minutes.

  • gid: This cookie is associated with Google Analytics. It is used to distinguish users. It expires after 24 hours.

How to delete browser cookies
Chrome

  • Select the icon of Eines

  • Click on Settings.

  • Click on Show Advanced Options.

  • In the “Privacy” section click on Content settings.

  • Delete cookies: Click on All cookies and site data.

  • Do not allow cookies to be stored.

  • Click on Delete browsing data (save the cache).

  •  Close and restart your browser.

Firefox. Version 18

  • Select Firefox | History | Clear recent history.

  • Next to “Details”, click the tab at the bottom.

  • Select the following checkboxes: Cookies, Memory Caution, Active Logins, and “Logins”.

  • Using the “Time period to delete” drop-down menu, select Tot.

  • Click on Clear now.

  • Close and restart the browser.

  • You can accept or decline cookies individually in the Firefox Preferences, in the History section available at Options> Options> Privacy.

Safari Version 5.1

  • Select the Safari / Edit / Restore Safari icon.

  • Select the following checkboxes: Delete history, Delete all web site data.

  • Click Reset.

  • Close and restart the browser.

Internet Explorer. Version 11

  • Select Tools | Internet Options.

  • Click on the General tab.

  • In the “Browsing history” section, click Delete browsing history on exit.

  • Select Delete files.

  • Select Delete cookies.

  • Click Delete.

  • Click OK.
